REVIEW: natural collection loose powder

I have always used pressed powder to set foundation and keep shine at bay but a couple of months ago I had the urge to try a loose powder. So of I trotted to boots to try there loose powder. I had heard good thing about it and decided to give it a try and since it was cheap as chips (say £1.99) it didn't matter too much if i hated it.

I hurried home to ry it and i'm chuffed to say i LOVE it!

The loose powder comes in 2 shades neutral translucent and warm translucent, either way they are both translucent! I got it in neutral since my boots didn't have warm.

It comes in a traditional pot and has a sifter.

The product is a sandy colour but applie totally transparent. it keeps the shine away and the foundation in place.

Its really finely milled so it doesnt leave that powdery look on the skin, it sinks in completely!

lightly tapped on with a powder brush...

blended in with the same brush....
So there you can see how amazing this little baby is!

ATM I dont really have anything bad to say about it
A definate good value for money and a keeper!

what are you favourite loose powders?

My favourite eyeliners!

I am a huge eyeliner fanatic and have been wearing it since I was 11years old.
I like all types of liners but my favourite is the liquid liner. They are just so classy and can make a huge difference to any look your sporting.

Below are some of my faves...

1. Barry m liquid eyeliner
This has a sponge tip and is really easy to use, great formula that stays on well. There might be some slight fading during the day but is still one of my faves and barry M have a huge range of colours and finishes ranging from metallics to the traditional black!

2. rimmel exaggerate liquid eyeliner
This eyeliner is pretty much exactly the same as the barry m without the excessive colour choice.

3. Bourjois kohl and contour eye pencil
This is one of my faveourite eye pencils. It is a very true dark black and has very good staying power. Its one of the more harder kohls but still it is soft enough to not drag on the skin.

4. Urban decay 24/7 glide on pencil
Now who doesn't love this eyeliner? It's a great eyeliner that is very smooth and glides on beautifully and stay put all day. however i do find it hard to sharpen to a point with it being so creamy.

5. clinique brush on cream liner
This is my favourite gel eyeliner. It is very black and stays put all day! No complaints with this one!

There we have it my favourite eyeliners!

REVIEW: sleek face contour kit

we all wish that we had those angelina jolie cheek bones but unfortunately we weren't blessed with them! so the next best thing to that is contouring.

The sleek contour kit contains a pressed powder to accentuate those cheekbones and a highlight powder to bring out the best features. I have it in the shade light.

But that's not all it can be used for. They double up as great eyeshadows, the darker can be used in the crese and the lighter one as a highlight.

It is a tad bit dark to be a shade light, but if you are pale you can pull it off with using a super light hand. It also comes in 2 other shades a medium and a dark shade.

The powder is very smooth and easy to blend, the highlight can look a little bit grainy but when applied its not at all like that. here they are swatched....

so as you can see it is slightly dark but i am not complaining (well ok just a bit)

moving on to the packaging...
it comes in a great little box and the actual contour kit packaging looks very 'sleek' (cheesy i know)

It also has a decent size mirror!

But THE best part for me was that sleek had included an instruction leaflet! with pictures! not many brands show you how to actually use the product. so for beginners or dummies like me this is a great bonus!

This product can be purchased from superdrug and www.sleekmakeup.com at the price of £5.99

Overall view: as you can see there's hardly anyhting negative I have to say, its a great product and good value for money, I would definately recommed it!

have any of you tried this? what do you think about it?

Take care guys! xxx

PLEASE NOTE: I am not affiliated with this company in any way and this was purchsed with my own money all reviews are my true honest opinion.
